Familiarity

Im having banana chips and marmite soup at 2.10 in the morning while catching up on my EU.

retarded post ahead. don't even bother reading, if there is,at all, anyone reading this.

I kinda miss college just because I know almost everyone, in the sense that, i can walk past anyone and go, "hey, i've seen this person before".
But not in university.

Everyone's new. I came here not knowing anyone, AT ALL. it felt like way back on my first day in ctc.
And this is where the problem is.
The first impression I seem to APPARENTLY give everyone is that I am an arrogant person. And I've been told this countless times.
Singaporeans call it "dao".

But it's not like I'm doing or saying anything wrong, or ignoring anyone for that matter. Which is weird.

And Inggrid if you're reading this, do you remember what everyone thought of us at the beginning of our term in ctc?

What I'm getting at is that, I really am not arrogant at all. Or intimidating, so I've heard.

I do come up to people and say hi, but don't expect me to say wave to every single person, while you stay in the corner and sulk, and say stuff like "Serene is so bitchy."

SERIOUSLY.

I'm really not at all. okay i can be mean at times, but they're jokes. I'm only mean when i'm really pissed off about something SERIOUS. not little things. And definitely not because I, in this case, DO NOT EVEN KNOW YOU.
I'm NINETEEN gosh.
Mature, or so I'd like to think.

moving on.

I love living in the halls. You meet more people, but people in my hall tend to go to bars more than clubs, and I very much prefer the latter.
I don't fancy alcohol as much. I am, in fact allergic to alcohol. And if you're not, please don't think I'm some weirdo with weird genes and all. My parents are not allergic to alcohol, AT ALL. But I am. Apparently it's extremely common in Asia.
More than a couple of pints and I get rashes all over my body. Mixed shots cause this as well.
and when it gets bad, it gets REALLY BAD. hence my dislike for pub going every night. because you HAVE to drink, and talk, and drink and talk.
And beer gives you a belly, which, the very self conscious me, is very much against.

So yeah. Halls are great for meeting people and hanging out during breakfast and dinner, go to when you need help with essays which make you go nuts, and of course, drinking coffee.

I love having housemates though. Although at this point, I'm not really sure what's up with Ksenija. Long story.

Fong Zhi Ven just called to say he's in LONDON. with See Ki i think.

Okay back to work now and enough of ranting. I know I don't update this blog as much as I should, but please come back once in a while okay? It's nice to know that at least 1(?) person is reading the crap i write.

PS: Jay Sean, I love your song- DOWN.

Thanks Ram for firguring out what song it was.
Don't you just hate it when you hear a new song in the club and not know who sang it.?
